Time Sensitive Networking
Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) aims to provide deterministic latency guarantees in network communications, crucial for applications like industrial automation and autonomous systems. Current research focuses on applying machine learning techniques, such as mixture density networks and extreme value models, to predict and manage network latency, particularly focusing on rare, high-latency events that impact reliability. This work is driven by the need for highly reliable low-latency communication in wireless and other challenging network environments, impacting the development of robust and predictable networked systems.
