Tractography Method
Tractography is a neuroimaging technique that reconstructs the brain's white matter pathways from diffusion MRI data, aiming to map the brain's structural connectivity. Current research focuses on improving tractography accuracy and reliability, particularly by incorporating anatomical priors and advanced machine learning models such as deep generative models, reinforcement learning, and convolutional neural networks to address challenges like incomplete data, low signal quality, and the presence of crossing fibers. These advancements are significantly improving the accuracy and reproducibility of white matter pathway reconstruction, leading to more robust analyses of brain structure and connectivity in both healthy individuals and those with neurological disorders.
