Typical Mediterranean Greenhouse

Typical Mediterranean greenhouses are the focus of intensive research aimed at optimizing crop production and resource efficiency through advanced technologies. Current research emphasizes the development and application of machine learning algorithms, including Bayesian neural networks and neural radiance fields, for precise environmental control and automated plant phenotyping (e.g., 3D plant modeling and fruit localization). This work leverages data from various sensors integrated into Internet of Things (IoT) systems and mobile robots to improve crop yield, reduce labor costs, and enhance sustainability in greenhouse agriculture.
