UAV Perception
UAV perception focuses on enabling unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to understand and interact with their environment through computer vision. Current research emphasizes robust object detection and action recognition, often leveraging advanced neural network architectures like Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs) and large multimodal models (LMMs) such as YOLO and GPT-4V, as well as addressing the challenges of limited real-world datasets through synthetic data generation and knowledge transfer techniques. This field is crucial for advancing autonomous navigation, surveillance, and various other applications of UAVs, particularly in complex or dynamic environments.
