Ultra Dense Network
Ultra-dense networks (UDNs) aim to maximize network capacity and service quality in densely populated areas by optimizing resource allocation and mitigating interference. Current research heavily utilizes reinforcement learning (RL), particularly multi-agent deep RL and federated learning, to address the complex optimization problems inherent in UDNs, often focusing on beam management, power control, and handover optimization. These advancements are crucial for enabling the deployment of next-generation wireless technologies like 5G and 6G, improving service availability, and supporting the growing demand for pervasive AI services in diverse applications.
