Urdu Poetry

Research on Urdu poetry is increasingly leveraging computational methods to analyze its stylistic features and even generate new poems. Current studies employ deep learning techniques, such as LSTM and GRU networks, to model the linguistic patterns within large corpora of Urdu ghazals and other poetic forms, focusing on aspects like lexical diversity and thematic content. This computational approach offers valuable insights into the structure and evolution of Urdu poetry, contributing to fields like computational stylistics and potentially enabling new forms of creative writing and literary analysis.
