Vaccine Concern

Research into vaccine hesitancy focuses on understanding and addressing the diverse concerns fueling vaccine resistance, particularly in the context of rapidly evolving public health crises. Current efforts leverage large language models, particularly in zero-shot settings, to analyze online discourse and classify the multifaceted nature of vaccine concerns, often employing multi-label classification techniques. This work aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of identifying and categorizing these concerns, ultimately informing public health strategies and resource allocation for more effective communication and vaccine promotion. The development of large, annotated datasets is crucial for training and evaluating these models, enabling a deeper understanding of the complex interplay of factors driving vaccine hesitancy.
