Vectorized HD Map Construction
Vectorized high-definition (HD) map construction aims to automatically generate precise, vector-based representations of road environments for autonomous driving, overcoming the limitations of manual mapping. Current research focuses on developing online, end-to-end learning methods, often employing query-based architectures and incorporating temporal information through techniques like stream query denoising and dual-stream temporal consistency learning to improve accuracy and efficiency. These advancements are crucial for enabling scalable and robust autonomous navigation systems, improving safety and efficiency in real-world applications.
