Vibration Suppression
Vibration suppression research aims to mitigate unwanted vibrations in various systems, from robotic manipulators to spacecraft, improving performance, safety, and precision. Current efforts focus on developing both passive and active damping strategies, employing techniques like magnetorheological springs, piezoelectric actuators, and data-driven model-based control incorporating algorithms such as DMD and SINDy. These advancements are impacting diverse fields, enhancing the efficiency of industrial processes, improving the accuracy of robotic systems, and enabling the development of more sophisticated and reliable machinery.
