Video Conferencing
Video conferencing aims to replicate face-to-face communication digitally, focusing on improving audio-visual quality, bandwidth efficiency, and accessibility. Current research emphasizes enhancing video quality through neural networks, particularly generative adversarial networks (GANs) and neural radiance fields, to reduce compression artifacts and improve low-bitrate performance, while also addressing challenges like packet loss and real-time deepfake detection. These advancements are significant for improving user experience and enabling more inclusive and secure communication across diverse applications, from remote work and education to healthcare and social interaction.
