Video Copy

Video copy detection (VCD) aims to identify instances of unauthorized video duplication, a crucial task given the proliferation of online video content. Current research focuses on improving the accuracy and efficiency of VCD, particularly for short-form videos, using techniques like feature disentanglement, mutual information maximization, and attention-enhanced transformer networks. These advancements are evaluated using large-scale benchmark datasets with segment-level annotations, pushing the boundaries of detection and localization accuracy. The development of robust VCD methods has significant implications for protecting intellectual property rights and maintaining the integrity of online video platforms.
