Vietnamese Language Model
Research on Vietnamese language models focuses on developing and evaluating large language models (LLMs) capable of understanding and generating Vietnamese text, addressing the scarcity of resources compared to high-resource languages like English. Current efforts concentrate on creating robust benchmarks for evaluating model performance across various tasks, including fact-checking, question answering, and machine translation, often employing transformer-based architectures like T5 and incorporating multimodal capabilities. These advancements are crucial for bridging the language technology gap, enabling improved access to information and services for Vietnamese speakers and fostering further research in low-resource language processing.
