Visually Effective Poster

Creating visually effective posters is a growing area of research focusing on automating the design process and improving the communication of information. Current efforts leverage deep learning models, including transformers and generative adversarial networks (GANs), to generate posters from textual descriptions, images, or even scientific papers, often incorporating multi-modal feature fusion and techniques like knowledge distillation for efficiency. This research aims to improve the effectiveness of visual communication across various applications, from marketing and advertising to scientific presentations, by automating design and optimizing content selection and layout. The development of new datasets and benchmark tasks is also driving progress in this field.
