Water Distribution Network
Water distribution networks (WDNs) are complex systems crucial for delivering potable water, and research focuses on improving their efficiency, sustainability, and resilience. Current efforts concentrate on developing advanced data-driven models, including graph neural networks and physics-informed machine learning, to enhance leak detection and localization, optimize pump scheduling, and improve pressure estimation. These advancements aim to address challenges like water loss, energy consumption, and network vulnerability, ultimately leading to more efficient and reliable water management.
