Wave Function

A wave function mathematically describes the quantum state of a particle or system, providing the probability amplitude of finding the system in a particular configuration. Current research focuses on efficiently computing and approximating wave functions, particularly for complex many-body systems, employing neural networks (like Physics-Informed Neural Networks and Fourier Neural Operators), normalizing flows, and transformer architectures. These advancements are crucial for improving simulations in quantum chemistry, materials science, and condensed matter physics, enabling more accurate predictions of molecular properties and system behavior.
