Weather Image
Weather image processing focuses on restoring clear images from those degraded by adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, fog, and haze, primarily to improve the performance of computer vision systems in autonomous driving and other applications. Current research emphasizes multi-task models capable of handling various simultaneous weather effects, often employing diffusion models, transformers, and generative adversarial networks (GANs) to achieve this. These advancements are crucial for enhancing the reliability and safety of autonomous systems and improving the accuracy of weather forecasting and hazard prediction, particularly in situations where traditional methods are insufficient.
