X Ray Imaging
X-ray imaging, a cornerstone of medical and industrial diagnostics, is undergoing a transformation driven by advancements in artificial intelligence and computational imaging. Current research focuses on improving image quality and analysis through techniques like deep learning (including convolutional neural networks and diffusion models), federated learning for privacy-preserving data analysis, and novel reconstruction methods such as stereo X-ray tomography and ptychography to reduce data acquisition needs. These improvements aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy, reduce radiation exposure, and enable faster, more efficient analysis across diverse applications, from medical imaging to non-destructive testing.
