Yaw Rate
Yaw rate, the rotational speed around a vehicle's vertical axis, is crucial for accurate vehicle control and motion estimation across various platforms, from autonomous vehicles and drones to boats and wind turbines. Current research focuses on improving yaw rate prediction and control using data-driven methods like conditional neural processes and weighted Iterated Closest Point algorithms, as well as advanced control strategies such as model predictive control and reinforcement learning. These advancements aim to enhance the accuracy, robustness, and efficiency of motion planning and control systems in diverse applications, improving safety, performance, and energy efficiency.
