Zero Gravity
Zero gravity research focuses on understanding and mitigating the challenges of operating robots and humans in environments lacking significant gravitational forces. Current research emphasizes developing robust control algorithms, often employing machine learning techniques like reinforcement learning (e.g., PPO) and model predictive control, to enable precise and safe locomotion, manipulation, and navigation for robotic systems in microgravity. These advancements are crucial for enabling future space exploration missions, improving the safety and efficiency of robotic operations in space, and furthering our understanding of human physiology and decision-making in altered gravitational fields.
