Zero Shot Chain of Thought
Zero-shot Chain of Thought (CoT) prompting enhances large language model (LLM) reasoning by instructing the model to generate step-by-step reasoning processes without task-specific training. Current research focuses on improving CoT's effectiveness through adaptive prompting strategies tailored to individual inputs, formalizing the reasoning steps for better analysis and modularity, and addressing biases and limitations in socially sensitive contexts. These advancements are significant for improving LLMs' reliability and applicability across diverse reasoning tasks, including knowledge graph refinement and cross-lingual applications, while also highlighting the need for careful consideration of ethical implications.
