Arabic Text to Speech
Arabic Text-to-Speech (TTS) research aims to develop systems capable of naturally and accurately synthesizing spoken Arabic from written text. Current efforts concentrate on addressing the scarcity of high-quality, publicly available Arabic speech data suitable for training advanced neural models, such as those based on Grad-TTS and Glow-TTS architectures. This focus on data acquisition and preparation is crucial for improving the intelligibility and naturalness of synthesized speech, ultimately impacting the accessibility of technology and resources for Arabic speakers. The development of large, well-annotated corpora is therefore a key driver of progress in the field.
