Autonomous Cooking
Autonomous cooking research aims to develop robotic systems capable of independently preparing meals, focusing on improving efficiency, consistency, and versatility in food preparation. Current efforts leverage advanced robotics with proprioceptive actuators for precise manipulation and modular kitchen designs for adaptability, alongside digital twin methodologies for real-time process monitoring and control. These physics-based and data-driven digital twins, often employing reduced-order modeling for efficient on-device computation, enable accurate prediction and control of cooking processes, potentially revolutionizing food production and personalized nutrition.
