Central Palsy

Central palsy, a type of facial paralysis, is a significant clinical challenge requiring rapid and accurate diagnosis to differentiate it from similar conditions like peripheral palsy. Current research focuses on developing automated diagnostic tools using machine learning algorithms, such as Support Vector Machines and Naive Bayes classifiers, trained on facial features, particularly eye movements and blinking patterns, to improve diagnostic speed and accuracy. These efforts aim to create more efficient and accessible diagnostic methods, potentially reducing misdiagnosis and improving patient outcomes.
