Co Pyrolysis

Co-pyrolysis, the simultaneous thermal decomposition of two or more materials, aims to optimize the yield and quality of valuable byproducts like biochar and bio-oil. Current research heavily utilizes machine learning, particularly regression and classification models such as decision trees, support vector machines, and neural networks, to analyze complex interactions between feedstocks (e.g., biomass and polymers) and process parameters, improving prediction accuracy and optimization of co-pyrolysis processes. This approach enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of biofuel production and resource recovery from waste materials, offering significant advancements in sustainable energy and waste management.
