Heusler Alloy
Heusler alloys, intermetallic compounds with unique structural and magnetic properties, are a focus of materials science research aimed at predicting and tailoring their characteristics for specific applications. Current investigations utilize machine learning, particularly random forest regression, to efficiently predict key properties like lattice constant and magnetic moment across various Heusler alloy families (full, half, inverse, and quaternary), achieving high accuracy compared to computationally intensive density functional theory. This predictive capability accelerates materials discovery and design, potentially impacting diverse fields requiring advanced magnetic or electronic materials.
