Honeypot Interface
Honeypot interfaces are deceptive systems designed to lure and analyze attackers, improving cybersecurity threat intelligence. Current research focuses on enhancing realism and interaction depth using large language models (LLMs) to generate dynamic, context-aware responses mimicking real systems (e.g., Linux shells, IoT devices), and reinforcement learning to adapt to attacker behavior. These advancements significantly improve the effectiveness of honeypots in capturing detailed attack information and understanding attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures, leading to more robust cybersecurity defenses.
