Hydropower Plant
Hydropower plants, crucial for renewable energy generation, are the subject of ongoing research focused on improving efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact. Current research employs advanced machine learning techniques, such as LSTM networks, GANs, and graph neural networks, to enhance predictive maintenance, optimize operations (including flow disaggregation and adaptive query processing), and improve forecasting accuracy by integrating diverse data sources (e.g., rainfall, reservoir levels, electrical and hydraulic sensor data). These advancements aim to increase energy production while mitigating environmental consequences through adaptive management strategies that balance energy generation with ecosystem preservation.
