Live Video Commenting
Live video commenting research aims to automatically generate engaging and relevant comments for live video streams, enhancing user experience and enabling new forms of interactive media. Current efforts focus on developing multimodal models that integrate audio and visual information, often employing transformer-based architectures like variational autoencoders, to generate diverse and contextually appropriate comments reflecting various sentiments. These advancements are driven by the need for larger, more diverse datasets and improved model capabilities to address challenges like sentiment representation and handling long-form video content, ultimately impacting the design of more interactive and engaging online video platforms.
