Matrix Domination

Matrix domination problems involve strategically placing a subset of elements within a matrix to control or "dominate" the remaining elements, a concept with applications ranging from network optimization to AI fairness. Current research focuses on developing efficient algorithms, such as genetic algorithms enhanced by collective decision-making processes, to solve these computationally complex problems. These efforts aim to improve solution quality and address challenges like player domination in multi-agent systems and the operationalization of intersectionality in AI fairness, ultimately contributing to more robust and equitable systems.
