Novel Architecture
Novel architectures are being developed across diverse fields to improve efficiency, performance, and applicability of existing models. Current research focuses on enhancing existing architectures like transformers through techniques such as attention mechanisms, subsampling, and neuromodulation, as well as exploring entirely new architectures based on spiking neural networks and recurrent models. These advancements aim to address challenges in areas ranging from malware detection and image generation to natural language processing and process mining, ultimately leading to more efficient and effective solutions in various scientific and practical domains.
