Psychological Disposition

Psychological disposition research focuses on understanding and modeling individuals' inherent tendencies and capabilities, encompassing both observable behaviors and internal mental states. Current research utilizes large language models (LLMs) like GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 to analyze diverse data sources, such as self-reported information and social media posts, to infer personality traits and predict behavioral responses. This work aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of psychological assessments, potentially democratizing access to mental health services while raising important ethical considerations regarding data privacy and algorithmic bias.
