Public Blockchain
Public blockchains are distributed, decentralized ledgers designed to securely record and verify transactions, aiming for transparency and immutability. Current research focuses on improving scalability and efficiency by addressing high transaction fees through novel redistribution mechanisms and exploring privacy-preserving techniques like secure multi-party computation and attribute-based encryption for sensitive data. This work is significant for enabling secure and efficient applications in diverse fields, including healthcare, supply chain management, and AI model training through federated learning, where blockchain enhances data integrity and trust.
