Shape Constraint Language
Shape Constraint Language (SHACL) is a W3C standard for validating RDF data graphs by defining constraints on data nodes. Current research focuses on improving the efficiency and expressiveness of SHACL validation, including translating SHACL into first-order logic for automated reasoning and developing algorithms to infer SHACL shapes from SPARQL query outputs. This work is significant for ensuring data quality in knowledge graphs and improving the understandability and trustworthiness of AI systems, particularly in applications requiring explainable AI (XAI) through diagrammatic reasoning.
