Virtual Co Presence
Virtual co-presence (VCP) research aims to create realistic and engaging shared virtual environments, focusing on improving user experience and interaction. Current efforts concentrate on developing advanced avatar representations, leveraging AI, particularly large language models (LLMs) and deep learning, for realistic simulations and personalized interactions, and employing techniques like virtual impactors and digital twins for accurate data generation and model validation. This field is significant for advancing human-computer interaction, enabling new applications in areas such as therapy, training, and remote collaboration, and improving the accuracy and reliability of AI models through virtual testing.
