Abstract

We propose FlowAnchor, a training-free framework for stable and efficient inversion-free, flow-based video editing. Inversion-free editing methods have recently shown impressive efficiency and structure preservation in images by directly steering the sampling trajectory with an editing signal. However, extending this paradigm to videos remains challenging, often failing in multi-object scenes or with increased frame counts. We identify the root cause as the instability of the editing signal in high-dimensional video latent spaces, which arises from imprecise spatial localization and length-induced magnitude attenuation. To overcome this challenge, FlowAnchor explicitly anchors both where to edit and how strongly to edit. It introduces Spatial-aware Attention Refinement, which enforces consistent alignment between textual guidance and spatial regions, and Adaptive Magnitude Modulation, which adaptively preserves sufficient editing strength. Together, these mechanisms stabilize the editing signal and guide the flow-based evolution toward the desired target distribution. Extensive experiments demonstrate that FlowAnchor achieves more faithful, temporally coherent, and computationally efficient video editing across challenging multi-object and fast-motion scenarios. One Editor, Many Edits: A Unified Training-Free Framework for Diverse Video Editing

Video editing spans diverse editing paradigms, yet achieving high-quality instruction-guided and subject-guided editing within a single unified framework remains challenging. We introduce EditVid, a training-free framework combining sparse causal memory for local coherence, correspondence-based post-attention token injection for long-range identity preservation, and soft latent blending for edit locality. The same framework supports instruction-guided and reference-guided edits, including style transfer, attribute modification, object insertion, part-level editing, and subject replacement. On FiVE, EditVid achieves 78.16 FiVE-Acc, compared with 58.95 for the strongest evaluated training-free baseline, while obtaining competitive results on IVEBench. A user study further shows a 51.8% overall preference for EditVid over 7 competing methods.

SAM-Flow: Source-Anchored Masked Flow for Training-Free Image Editing

Training-free image editing has recently attracted increasing attention due to its ability to modify real images using powerful pre-trained diffusion and flow-matching models without additional training. However, existing inversion-based and differential-flow-based methods usually perform global latent transport, which inevitably propagates editing effects to non-target regions and leads to background leakage. To address this problem, we propose SAM-Flow, a source-anchored masked flow framework for localized training-free image editing. Instead of updating the whole latent representation, SAM-Flow first uses a scout image and token-grounded attention maps to localize the editable semantic regions. It then applies differential velocity updates only within these regions, while anchoring the remaining areas to the source-image latent trajectory. To further improve spatial stability and boundary naturalness, we introduce a time-varying source-anchored projection mechanism with dynamic soft masks, transition regions, and temporal mask accumulation. The proposed method is plug-and-play and can be integrated with mainstream flow-matching backbones such as Stable Diffusion 3 and FLUX without any fine-tuning. Extensive qualitative and quantitative experiments demonstrate that SAM-Flow achieves accurate semantic editing while significantly improving background preservation, providing a simple and general localized editing paradigm for training-free image editing. IDAG-Edit: Multi-Object Video Editing via Instance-Decoupled Attention and Guidance

Diffusion-based video editing has made significant progress; however, achieving precise and temporally consistent object-level control, especially in multi-object scenarios, remains challenging due to attention leakage, identity drift, and unstable temporal dynamics. In this work, we propose IDAGEdit, a training-free framework for fine-grained multi-object video editing with strong temporal consistency. The framework adopts Layout-guided Attention Modulation to facilitate coherent multi-object editing, while Instance-level Masks are introduced to preserve individual object identity and enforce localized attention within each object region, thereby enabling fine-grained, object-level editing. Extensive qualitative and quantitative evaluations demonstrate that our method improves temporal stability and multi-object controllability over state-of-the-art video editing approaches.
