The Latest in AI is a research-discovery service operated from Australia. This policy explains the information handled when you browse the public index or create an account.
Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, optional profile details, authentication records, and active sessions. Product information includes topics you follow, papers you save or visit, reading states, collections, and research-agent conversations. Security logs may include an IP address, browser information, timestamps, and delivery errors.
Usage analytics record which pages you view and which features you use (for example opening a paper, saving it, following a topic, or asking a research question), along with browser, device, approximate location derived from your IP address, and referring site. Signed-out visits are recorded against a random identifier stored in your browser; once you sign in, they are linked to your account.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, personalize your feed, maintain your library, answer research questions, enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and communicate about account security. Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Account settings. Deletion removes active account and personal research data; encrypted or disaster-recovery backups may retain a copy until their normal rotation completes.

You can update your profile, email, password, sessions, follows, and saved research from the site. You may also request access or correction by contacting support.
