Abstract

Text-conditioned general audio generation is moving beyond isolated speech, music, and sound-effect synthesis toward a single model that can compose them into controllable, coherent audio scenes. This unified setting is particularly challenging: heterogeneous components impose conflicting structural requirements on a shared backbone, while a complex mixed scene may contain locally distinct or overlapping content that demands fine-grained adaptation within the same clip. Existing audio mixture-of-experts (MoEs) mainly route at the domain level, while token-wise routing overlooks the local continuity inherent to acoustic signals. We propose SonicWeave, a flow-matching model for unified audio scene generation. At its core is a chunk-routed MoE with a conflict-gated prior-evidence routing mechanism (CPE-MoE). CPE-MoE routes contiguous acoustic chunks by combining a global prior that encodes the structured text condition and diffusion phase with local evidence from the evolving acoustic state. A learned conflict gate favors the prior when local states are unreliable, while allowing local evidence to influence routing when a region departs from the global scene context. SonicWeave supports speech, music, sound effects, singing, and their fine-grained mixtures with a single set of weights. Across TTS, TTA, and TTM benchmarks, SonicWeave consistently improves over controlled Dense and Base-MoE baselines. Complex-scene evaluation further demonstrates improved compositional quality, while routing analyses reveal content-dependent expert specialization across diffusion phases. These results suggest that temporally coherent, prior-evidence routing is an effective conditional-computation strategy for unified audio generation. Dasheng AudioGen: A Unified Model for Generating Coherent Audio Scenes from Text

Audio generation has long been fragmented, with speech, music, and sound effects produced by domain-specific models that fail to jointly generate coherent audio scenes from a single description. The key obstacles are insufficient fine-grained supervision for real-world mixed audio and limited acoustic representations for modeling concurrent audio components. We present Dasheng AudioGen, a unified framework for generating general mixed-audio scenes from text. Dasheng AudioGen introduces structured multi-view captions, which explicitly decouple complex acoustic scenes into complementary description views, thereby enabling fine-grained control over audio layers. Furthermore, we employ a high-dimensional unified semantic-acoustic representation as the shared latent space. It injects semantic priors that facilitate cross-modal training convergence, while its high-dimensional feature space provides sufficient capacity to disentangle and fuse concurrent audio components effectively. With these designs, a simple flow-matching DiT achieves high-quality end-to-end audio scene generation. We also establish a comprehensive evaluation pipeline for audio scene generation. Experiments demonstrate that Dasheng AudioGen achieves performance approaching real-world recordings in mixed-audio categories, while remaining competitive with specialized models in single-type generation tasks. MiDashengLM-Gen: Unified Audio Scene Generation via LLM-Driven Autoregressive Flow Matching

Generating coherent audio scenes that simultaneously blend speech, music, and sound effects remains a significant challenge. Current approaches typically rely on a disjointed pipeline where a frozen, decoupled text encoder feeds a separate audio decoder, limiting cross-modal optimization and leading to poor speech intelligibility. To overcome these limitations, we introduce MiDashengLM-Gen, an end-to-end framework that couples a pre-trained Large Language Model (LLM) with per-token conditional flow matching for autoregressive, variable-length mixed-audio scene generation. MiDashengLM-Gen represents a first approach for general text-to-audio generation with one end-to-end trained model. Empirical evaluations demonstrate that MiDashengLM-Gen drastically improves speech intelligibility over existing unified models. On the Seed-TTS benchmark, English Word Error Rate (WER) drops from 12.15% to 2.79%, approaching the performance of dedicated Text-to-Speech (TTS) systems (1.24%). Furthermore, the framework extends effectively to multilingual settings, yielding highly competitive multilingual WERs compared to existing baselines. Lastly, the model maintains competitive mixed-audio generation quality on the MECAT benchmark. UniSonate: A Unified Model for Speech, Music, and Sound Effect Generation with Text Instructions

Generative audio modeling has largely been fragmented into specialized tasks, text-to-speech (TTS), text-to-music (TTM), and text-to-audio (TTA), each operating under heterogeneous control paradigms. Unifying these modalities remains a fundamental challenge due to the intrinsic dissonance between structured semantic representations (speech/music) and unstructured acoustic textures (sound effects). In this paper, we introduce UniSonate, a unified flow-matching framework capable of synthesizing speech, music, and sound effects through a standardized, reference-free natural language instruction interface. To reconcile structural disparities, we propose a novel dynamic token injection mechanism that projects unstructured environmental sounds into a structured temporal latent space, enabling precise duration control within a phoneme-driven Multimodal Diffusion Transformer (MM-DiT). Coupled with a multi-stage curriculum learning strategy, this approach effectively mitigates cross-modal optimization conflicts. Extensive experiments demonstrate that UniSonate achieves state-of-the-art performance in instruction-based TTS (WER 1.47%) and TTM (SongEval Coherence 3.18), while maintaining competitive fidelity in TTA. Crucially, we observe positive transfer, where joint training on diverse audio data significantly enhances structural coherence and prosodic expressiveness compared to single-task baselines.
