Abstract

Mobile embodied AI networks (MEAN) enable embodied agents to perceive, reason, communicate, and act in wireless environments. In such networks, agent mobility can improve channel conditions, while semantic compression can reduce transmission payloads. However, movement consumes energy, and stronger compression incurs additional computational cost. This paper studies joint movement, semantic compression, and transmit power design for an uplink MEAN system. We formulate a max-min energy efficiency (EE) problem by jointly optimizing transmit power, movement distance, and semantic compression ratio under controllable power constraints. The problem is non-convex due to the coupled signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), mobility-dependent channel gains, and fractional EE objective. To solve it, we propose an alternating optimization (AO)-Dinkelbach algorithm, where the fractional objective is handled by the Dinkelbach transformation, transmit power is updated via successive convex approximation (SCA), and movement distance is updated by coordinate-wise grid search. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms no-mobility and no-compression baselines, demonstrating the benefit of jointly exploiting mobility control, semantic compression, and power allocation in MEAN.

Agentic AI-Empowered Wireless Agent Networks With Semantic-Aware Collaboration via ILAC

The rapid development of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) is driving future wireless networks to evolve from passive data pipes into intelligent collaborative ecosystems under the emerging paradigm of integrated learning and communication (ILAC). However, realizing efficient agentic collaboration faces challenges not only in handling semantic redundancy but also in the lack of an integrated mechanism for communication, computation, and control. To address this, we propose a wireless agent network (WAN) framework that orchestrates a progressive knowledge aggregation mechanism. Specifically, we formulate the aggregation process as a joint energy minimization problem where the agents perform semantic compression to eliminate redundancy, optimize transmission power to deliver semantic payloads, and adjust physical trajectories to proactively enhance channel qualities. To solve this problem, we develop a hierarchical algorithm that integrates inner-level resource optimization with outer-level topology evolution. Theoretically, we reveal that incorporating a potential field into the topology evolution effectively overcomes the short-sightedness of greedy matching, providing a mathematically rigorous heuristic for long-term energy minimization. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves superior energy efficiency and scalability compared to conventional benchmarks, validating the efficacy of semantic-aware collaboration in dynamic environments.

Secure and Energy-Efficient Wireless Agentic AI Networks

In this paper, we introduce a secure wireless agentic AI network comprising one supervisor AI agent and multiple other AI agents to provision quality of service (QoS) for users' reasoning tasks while ensuring confidentiality of private knowledge and reasoning outcomes. Specifically, the supervisor AI agent can dynamically assign other AI agents to participate in cooperative reasoning, while the unselected AI agents act as friendly jammers to degrade the eavesdropper's interception performance. To extend the service duration of AI agents, an energy minimization problem is formulated that jointly optimizes AI agent selection, base station (BS) beamforming, and AI agent transmission power, subject to latency and reasoning accuracy constraints. To address the formulated problem, we propose two resource allocation schemes, ASC and LAW, which first decompose it into three sub-problems. Specifically, ASC optimizes each sub-problem iteratively using the proposed alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM)-based algorithm, semi-definite relaxation (SDR), and successive convex approximation (SCA), while LAW tackles each sub-problem using the proposed large language model (LLM) optimizer within an agentic workflow. The experimental results show that the proposed solutions can reduce network energy consumption by up to 59.1% compared to other benchmark schemes. Furthermore, the proposed schemes are validated using a practical agentic AI system based on Qwen, demonstrating satisfactory reasoning accuracy across various public benchmarks.

Multi-view Semantic-aware Resource Allocation for Edge AI

Semantic communication is emerging as a pivotal paradigm to overcome wireless resource scarcity in 6G networks. This paper proposes a novel end-to-end framework for semantics-aware resource allocation in multi-user Edge AI. We extend the Opportunistic Information Bottleneck (OIB) to a multi-view setting, termed the Multi-view Gaussian Information Bottleneck (MGIB), by fusing complementary source views without variational approximation or network retraining. A resource allocation framework is then formulated for joint compression-level selection, transmission mode selection (i.e., the number of active sources per group), and PRB assignment. The problem is formulated as a Mixed-Integer Linear Program (MILP), solved efficiently via a proposed Lagrangian Relaxation (LR) algorithm, and benchmarked against the NP-hard optimal solution. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed LR scheme achieves near-optimal utility, and doubles PRB efficiency versus average allocation.
