Abstract

Visual captures provide detailed scene appearance, but converting them into interactive simulation environments requires object reconstruction, physical modeling, and correction of intermediate errors. We present SceneAgent, an agentic pipeline that coordinates these steps through simulator-based visual inspection and repair. The pipeline processes 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS), photogrammetry, LiDAR captures, AI-generated 3DGS scenes, and 4D videos of dynamic scenes, and combines object segmentation, physical parameter estimation, part decomposition, articulation, and deformable simulation. To support policy learning, SceneAgent generates diverse object variants ("digital sisters") and scripted demonstrations. On a cluttered bin scene from GraspClutter6D, SceneAgent raises F1 at 1 cm for every coding agent with scorable outputs both with and without its skills, and its reconstructions are better than SimFoundry: all agent configurations exceed SimFoundry's F1 score, with a best of 60.75% versus 6.9%. On three dynamic scenes from 4DCodeBench, SceneAgent raises the mean dynamic IoU of Gemini 4 Argon from 0.86% to 99.09%. We further demonstrate diverse simulated interactions and preliminary policy transfer to a real robot.

SceneRig: An Agentic System for Simulation-Ready 3D Scene Reconstruction from Single Images

Simulation is a powerful tool for robotics, but building diverse, simulation-ready scenes at scale remains difficult. Reconstructing scenes from single images is a promising alternative, but visual similarity alone is insufficient: objects must also be recovered, accurately placed, and physically grounded. Existing methods that rely on post-hoc physics settling often misplace objects, producing scenes that look correct but behave poorly under manipulation. We present SceneRig, an agentic system that turns a single image into an editable, simulation-ready scene. SceneRig combines geometric, visual, and physical tools to reconstruct a faithful 3D scene. An agent then performs edit-and-validate loops inside a physics simulator to achieve physical stability. Across diverse inputs, SceneRig improves instance segmentation, object-centric appearance, and 3D placement while keeping the reconstructed scenes physically stable. Furthermore, SceneRig is effective for downstream robotics: its scenes predict real-robot policy outcomes more accurately than the baseline method and more reliably support replay of recorded manipulations without trajectory adaptation.

Agentic RSR: Real-to-Sim-to-Real through Scene Reconstruction and Execution-Grounded Robot Policies

A simulation of a real robot workspace must preserve task-relevant interactions, while policies developed in it must operate on observations available to the real robot. Yet scene reconstruction and policy development are often treated separately. We present Agentic Real-to-Sim-to-Real (Agentic RSR), a framework that links scene reconstruction, policy development, and real-robot execution through the same manipulation task. Given a workspace video, a task description, and a known robot model, an agent recovers metric scale, iteratively refines the scene using visual feedback, and checks task-relevant interactions in MuJoCo. A coding agent then develops an executable policy, progressing from privileged object poses to visual observations and randomized simulation. The policy can interleave multiple observations and actions within one invocation, while the agent uses execution feedback to continue, retry, or revise its approach. A shared task-level interface carries the policy and accumulated experience to the real robot, where fresh observations and safety checks guide execution. Using Claude Opus 5.5 through DeepSeek Harness (DSH), all 18 scenes across two robots pass the joint visual check; mean four-view Depth MAE against reference depth estimates is 0.0808 m, mean Lab ΔE76ΔE_{76} is 8.01, and mean grayscale SSIM is 0.7338. In real-robot experiments, the aggregate task success rate reaches 80% of the simulation task success rate, indicating substantial retention of simulated performance on hardware. Code and reconstructed scene data will be made publicly available.

LiteReality-Agent: An Agentic System for Interactable 3D Indoor Scene Reconstruction

We present LiteReality-Agent, an agentic system for reconstructing real indoor environments as realistic, articulated, and simulation-ready 3D scenes from RGB-D scans. At its core, LiteReality-Agent formulates 3D reconstruction as a coding problem, in which a coding agent gathers evidence using specialised tools and iteratively edits a Python script, Room.py, which can be executed to produce a 3D digital twin of the room. With this formulation, we develop a robust observe-edit-verify harness that supports evidence gathering, measurement, verification, layout optimisation, simulation readiness, and quality control throughout the reconstruction process. LiteReality-Agent produces high-quality reconstructions suitable for simulation and downstream embodied AI tasks. Furthermore, as agent capabilities continue to improve rapidly, the system introduced by LiteReality-Agent remains a strong orchestration framework for future agents: it equips them with specialised tools, structured workflows, and robust verification mechanisms that substantially improve reconstruction quality and reliability. We demonstrate that LiteReality-Agent produces reconstructions that are more geometrically accurate, visually realistic, and simulation-compatible than those generated by recent frontier models, such as Astra and Fable. We therefore view LiteReality-Agent as a practical and important building block for robust real-to-sim systems. Both the source code and the data-capture application are publicly available.
