Audio CAPTCHAs

Audio CAPTCHAs, designed to distinguish humans from bots accessing online services, are increasingly vulnerable to sophisticated speech recognition systems. Current research focuses on developing more robust CAPTCHAs by leveraging adversarial examples and exploiting the inherent differences between human and machine audio processing. This involves designing audio challenges that are easily understood by humans but difficult for automated systems to transcribe, improving the security of online services while maintaining accessibility for visually impaired users. The resulting advancements contribute to a more secure and inclusive online environment.
