CVE Record

Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) are standardized identifiers for software vulnerabilities, and research focuses on improving their management and analysis. Current efforts leverage machine learning, particularly deep learning models like transformers and recurrent neural networks, along with knowledge graphs and natural language processing, to automate tasks such as linking CVEs to patches, associated weaknesses (CWEs), affected software (CPEs), and potential attack techniques (TTPs). This research is crucial for enhancing software security by accelerating vulnerability discovery, remediation, and threat prediction, ultimately improving overall cybersecurity posture.
