Eye Blink
Eye blink research focuses on understanding and utilizing the characteristics of eye blinks for various applications. Current research employs convolutional neural networks (CNNs), often incorporating multimodal data (RGB, NIR, EEG) and advanced techniques like depth-wise separable convolutions and style mixing for improved accuracy and efficiency in blink detection and related tasks such as fatigue detection and attention level estimation. These advancements are driving progress in fields ranging from driver safety and e-learning to biometric authentication and the understanding of human perception, with the potential for significant improvements in these areas.
