Grammatical Error
Grammatical error correction (GEC) research aims to automatically identify and correct grammatical errors in text, improving the quality of written language. Current efforts focus on developing robust evaluation benchmarks and quality estimation models for various languages, particularly those with limited existing resources, by creating annotated datasets and leveraging machine learning techniques. This work is crucial for advancing GEC systems and has significant implications for language learning applications, automated writing assistance tools, and improving the overall quality of digital text.
