Graphic Primitive
Graphic primitives are the fundamental building blocks of vector graphics, and research focuses on efficiently representing, manipulating, and generating them. Current efforts involve developing novel encoding schemes, such as simplex-based structures, to improve computational efficiency, and leveraging deep learning architectures like point transformers and recursive neural networks for tasks such as primitive grouping and image synthesis from text descriptions. These advancements are improving the speed and accuracy of vector graphics processing, with applications ranging from efficient image rendering and CAD design to the automated creation of scientific figures.
