LLM Driven Non Player Character
Large language models (LLMs) are revolutionizing the creation of non-player characters (NPCs) in interactive environments, aiming to create more engaging and realistic virtual companions. Current research focuses on improving NPC behavior through techniques like character consistency, behavioral alignment with defined personalities, and collaborative interaction with human players, often leveraging models like GPT-4. This work has implications for various fields, including game development, education (e.g., simulated classrooms), and narrative design, by enabling more dynamic and responsive virtual characters that enhance user experience and learning opportunities.
