Massive Machine Type Communication
Massive Machine Type Communication (mMTC) focuses on efficiently managing the communication of a vast number of low-power devices, a key challenge in the Internet of Things (IoT). Current research emphasizes accurate prediction of bursty traffic patterns using machine learning models like LSTMs and deep neural networks, as well as optimizing resource allocation through techniques such as Q-learning and adaptive beamforming with novel antenna designs. These advancements aim to improve network efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and enable the seamless integration of numerous IoT devices into existing communication networks.
