Privacy Assistant
Privacy assistants are AI systems designed to help users manage their personal data and online privacy, aiming to balance the utility of information access with robust privacy protections. Current research focuses on enhancing these assistants' ability to reason about contextual integrity, employing techniques like differential privacy and carefully controlled data access to prevent unintended information leakage, even from sophisticated adversarial attacks. This work is crucial for building trustworthy AI systems that empower users while mitigating privacy risks, impacting both the development of secure AI architectures and the broader societal adoption of AI-driven tools.
