Relighting Scene
Relighting scene research aims to realistically change the illumination of images or 3D models, enabling applications like augmented reality and photometric stereo. Current approaches leverage neural radiance fields (NeRFs), diffusion models, and generative adversarial networks (GANs), often incorporating physically-based rendering techniques and training on synthetic or multi-illumination datasets to improve realism and handle complex lighting effects. This work is significant for advancing computer vision and graphics, impacting fields such as virtual and augmented reality by enabling more realistic scene manipulation and improved material estimation from limited data.
