Shared Knowledge Lifelong Learning
Shared Knowledge Lifelong Learning (SKILL) focuses on enabling artificial agents to continuously learn and retain multiple skills, efficiently combining them in novel ways even beyond initial training examples. Current research emphasizes leveraging transformer-based models and decentralized multi-agent systems to achieve this, often focusing on techniques for efficient knowledge sharing and disentangling transferable skills from task-specific knowledge. This research area is significant for advancing AI capabilities in complex, dynamic environments and has implications for improving the efficiency and generalization of machine learning models across diverse applications.
