Story Plot

Story plot research focuses on understanding and generating compelling narratives, encompassing aspects like premise creation, character development, and event sequencing. Current research employs large language models (LLMs) and other deep learning architectures, often incorporating techniques like reinforcement learning and optimal transport, to synthesize and analyze plot structures, predict reader engagement, and even integrate plot elements into interactive game narratives. This work has implications for creative writing assistance, game design, and potentially even for understanding and improving the interpretability of complex AI systems through the lens of narrative structure.
